Version: 2026-10-15.1. Effective: 15 October 2026.
1. Provider and scope
Packing What is operated by BATA BALÁZS E.V. (Hungarian sole trader). Registered and postal address: 2490 Pusztaszabolcs, Gépállomás utca 22/1., Hungary. Tax number: 59656029-1-27. Sole trader registration number: 57704638, registered with the Hungarian National Tax and Customs Administration. Customer support and privacy contact: hello@mitvigyek.hu. This verified shared address handles Packing What enquiries. Provider details.
These terms apply to the English-language Packing What web and mobile packing-list service at https://packingwhat.com and https://app.packingwhat.com. On iOS, purchases use the App Store; on Android, they use Google Play, where purchasing is available in that mobile release. The store's purchase and payment terms also apply. Its contracting-party details, local price, currency and renewal terms are shown before confirmation and on the purchase receipt. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
2. Accounts and other travellers
Sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Use an email account you control, provide information and make purchases you are authorised to provide or make, and protect access to your account.
Only enter identifiable information about another traveller with their prior consent. A child's profile must be managed by a parent, legal guardian or appropriately authorised adult. No separate child account is required. Use nicknames and general travel preferences where possible. Do not enter diagnoses, medical records, identity-document numbers or other sensitive information in free-text fields.
Anyone holding a sharing link may access the shared list and perform the actions enabled on that shared page. Only share it with intended recipients. Revoke or replace the link to stop future access; copies already made cannot be recalled.
3. Service and AI suggestions
Manual lists, travellers, trips and personal packing rules are free features. A new ordinary account receives 3 one-time AI credits. Published referral offers may provide additional credits.
AI produces packing suggestions using the trip information you enter. Check and adapt them yourself. The service does not provide medical advice or verify passports, entry requirements or travel eligibility. Manual lists work without AI. Our privacy notice explains what is sent to the AI provider.
One successfully accounted AI generation uses one credit or one Plus allowance unit. A failed generation releases its reserved allowance. Your remaining allowance is shown in the app.
4. Web packages and prices
| Package | Included | Total customer price |
|---|---|---|
| 5 AI credits | 5 one-time AI generations | EUR 2.99, one-off |
| 15 AI credits | 15 one-time AI generations | EUR 5.99, one-off |
| Packing What Plus yearly | 50 AI generations per calendar month | EUR 24.99 per year |
These are the total amounts charged for the displayed web packages. There are no delivery fees. Any accepted discount and the final amount are shown before payment. Your bank may apply its own currency-conversion charges. The service provider issues the web-purchase invoice separately through Billingo. App-store prices and currencies may differ from these web prices; the price displayed by the relevant store before you confirm the purchase applies.
Credits have no time-based expiry, do not renew automatically, belong to your account, are not transferable and are not a cash substitute. Contact support about remaining paid credits before deleting your account.
The yearly Plus fee is paid in one amount in advance, rather than in monthly instalments. The monthly allowance resets by UTC calendar month and does not roll over. While Plus is active, generations use its monthly allowance; separately purchased credits remain. If the Plus monthly limit is reached, manual features remain available.
5. Ordering and confirmation
After signing in, choose a package, review its price and, for yearly Plus, its automatic renewal. Before the final payment confirmation, you can go back and correct billing details. You must accept these terms and separately request immediate access before the app opens Stripe Checkout. The final Stripe payment button confirms the payment obligation.
The preceding Stripe ordering steps apply to web purchases. For an App Store or Google Play purchase, review the package, these terms, the local store price and any renewal terms, then confirm the purchase through that store's payment interface. The store provides its purchase confirmation and receipt; you can check the resulting credits or Plus entitlement in Packing What.
Paid access is activated after the payment provider confirms the purchase. Opening a success page alone does not prove payment. If you paid but access is missing, contact support before purchasing again so we can check the original transaction.
The contract language is English. The web order and accepted version of the terms are recorded electronically; this is not a separately signed written contract. For web purchases, we email the purchased package, amount, renewal information and full accepted documents in a form you can retain. The provider manually issues and emails the web-purchase invoice through Billingo. The web order email and Stripe payment confirmation do not replace that invoice. Store-purchase confirmations and store-provided receipts are supplied by the relevant store.
6. Automatic yearly renewal and ordinary cancellation
Yearly Plus has a one-year subscription period and renews automatically until cancelled. The payment provider for the purchase charges the renewal fee. The price and next renewal date are available in the purchase and subscription-management interfaces.
For a web subscription, use the app's subscription-management button to open the Stripe customer portal, or contact support. Manage an App Store subscription through Apple's subscription settings, and a Google Play subscription through Google Play's subscription settings. Ordinary cancellation stops the next renewal and leaves access available until the end of the paid period. This is different from withdrawal, termination and a refund request. Removing the app or deleting the account does not by itself stop a subscription charge.
After a failed charge, the payment provider may retry under its payment process. Plus access depends on verified subscription/payment status. Do not start parallel subscriptions for the same account on different platforms.
7. Withdrawal, termination and refunds
The applicable statutory rules, including Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014, remain applicable. Activating annual access does not mean the whole annual service has been completely performed.
Our additional web commitment: for 14 days after concluding a Stripe credit-package or yearly Plus contract, you may request a full refund of the amount paid, even if you started using it. We do not deduct a usage fee or require replacement of consumed credits under this commitment. This does not shorten any longer statutory claim.
Send an unambiguous request to support, or use Settings → Withdraw from contract in the app. We acknowledge the online notice by email. The refund notice includes an optional model form. Registering a request does not immediately execute a bank refund. We arrange the amount due within 14 days of the withdrawal notice using the original payment method unless you agree to another method. Your bank may take additional time to display it.
Further usage rights associated with a refunded purchase end. For a refunded web yearly Plus purchase, we also stop future subscription charges. Ordinary cancellation of a renewal alone is not a refund request. Request an app-store refund through the relevant store's process described in our refund notice; you can also contact our support for assistance. The store's process does not override applicable mandatory consumer rights.
8. Service problems and complaints
Contact support about service or payment problems. Your mandatory remedies for a non-conforming digital service remain available, including bringing the service into conformity and, where applicable, a price reduction or ending the contract. A warning to check AI suggestions does not exclude those rights. Hungarian digital-service rules.
We substantively answer written consumer complaints within 30 days, explain any refusal and provide the competent authority/dispute-resolution body and procedural information where required. Consumer-complaint records and responses are kept for 3 years. Hungarian Consumer Protection Act.
After first attempting resolution with us, you may approach a consumer conciliation body. See the Hungarian Chamber's official directory. The body for our registered address is Fejér Vármegyei Békéltető Testület, 8000 Székesfehérvár, Hosszúsétatér 4–6., Hungary; email bekeltetes@fmkik.hu; phone +36 22 510-310; official contact details. This does not restrict the competent forum available to you under mandatory law. We cooperate in the procedure. Court remedies remain available.
9. Responsible use, deletion and changes
Do not use the service to process data without authority, infringe rights, abuse accounts or interfere with the system. Your content remains yours; you permit the storage, requested processing and sharing needed to provide the service you request.
Serious abuse may result in a justified and proportionate restriction. We give notice and an opportunity to dispute it unless law or an immediate security reason prevents this. If a paid service ends, remaining entitlements and fees are settled. We do not exclude liability contrary to mandatory law.
You can request account deletion in profile settings. First stop any automatic subscription renewal and save lists you need. Deleting your account does not remove a payment dispute or lawful refund claim.
We do not unilaterally increase the price of an already paid period. Material future changes are notified in advance in a retainable form, with the termination rights required by applicable law. Unexpired paid rights are not forfeited without settlement if the service closes. Hungarian law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protections applicable in their country.
